Bin-day rules

Before you put the bins out

  • Put bags, bins and crates at the kerb by 7 am.
  • Use only official council rubbish bags and keep glass separate from mixed recycling.
  • The official map labels recycling as Week 1 or Week 2. Collections Day shows that label but does not invent calendar dates without a verified current cycle anchor.
  • Christmas Day, New Year's Day and Good Friday can affect collection arrangements; check the council's current notice for the replacement date.
