Buller District Council provides weekly refuse-bag collection and fortnightly recycling to eligible Zone One properties. Zones Two and Three do not receive the council kerbside service.

Before you put the bins out
- Put refuse bags, the recycling bin and glass crate at the kerb by 7:30 am on the assigned day.
- Use only official council refuse bags for the council collection.
- Keep glass separate from mixed recycling and leave lids off bottles and jars.
- A property outside Zone One is not treated as receiving a council kerbside service.
