FOGO caddy liners must be Council-approved or display both AS 5810 and AS 4736. Put bins on the nature strip the night before, clear of trees, poles and parked cars. Can plastic bags go in Boroondara’s recycling bin? No. Keep plastic bags, soft plastic wrapping and bagged recycling out of the yellow-lid bin.
Can I use a compostable FOGO liner? Only accepted liners made from 100% corn starch and marked with both AS 5810 and AS 4736. Paper bags, newspaper and paper towel are also accepted.
